As the Restaurant Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead and inspire a dedicated staff in delivering memorable dining experiences.

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager / Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our upscale establishment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a track record of success in the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and supervisors, to ensure exceptional service standards are consistently met
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and vendor relations to ensure sufficient supply levels and cost-effective purchasing practices
  • Train, mentor, and motivate staff to uphold company policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed expectations and resolve issues effectively
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus, special promotions, and craft cocktail / beverage selections
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, such as sales reports, labor costs, and budget variances, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Promote the restaurant via social media and traditional marketing
  • Come up with creative ideas to attract new customers and bring back existing customers

Qualifications :

  • Several years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in an upscale or fine dining establishment
  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, sanitation standards, and health regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and vendors
  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business
  • ServSafe certification and / or other relevant industry certifications are a plus
